Ordered a Detroit style pizza with pepperoni for pick up. It was ready at exactly the time they said, lots of parking across the street , quick friendly easy service. First time trying a Detroit style pizza and I have to say i dont know if I’ll ever give up my east coast style preference this pizza was really amazing. Thick slices, savory sauce and that delightful crispy cheese lacing all around the edge had me very pleased w Volo!
I don’t write reviews … but I had to for this one to do what I can to ensure this business stays in existence forever… I’m a native Detroiter and I would put this in my top 3 Detroit style pizzas, and that includes anywhere I’ve been in Detroit or the metro area. Definitely the best in this region. Pretty much perfect crust … thick, crispy, and airy. The toppings / sauce had excellent balance and layered the way Detroit style should be. If you want a delicious and authentic Detroit style pizza, this is the place to go. Thoroughly impressed and will make the trip up from Boston to get it again and again.
Incredible deep dish pizza. Life changing. Hands down absolutey the best I have had in my life. You cannot find anything comparable in Boston. 10/10, would recommend.
